Can I get a refund?

You've purchased tickets to an event, but unfortunately can no longer make it. Requesting a refund is simple and can be done right from your Quicket account.

Please note that refunds are not guaranteed for every event and are at the discretion of the event organiser. For more information on our refund policy, see our terms and conditions.

 

Cancel tickets from your Quicket account
 

If the organiser for the event has permitted refunds, you can cancel your order right from your account. Just log into your Quicket account with the email address that was used to make the booking, and go to My Tickets

Find the purchase you'd like to cancel, and under Options click Request refund.


If you do not see the Request refund option, then the organiser has not given Quicket permission to process refunds for the event; it would be best to contact the event organiser directly in this case. You can find their contact details and email them straight from the event page under Organiser Details.
 


Select which tickets in this purchase you'd like cancelled and refunded.

Please note that there is a 10% cancellation fee, and the ticket service fee is always non-refundable.

Refunds requested with less than 24 hours notice before the start of an event, during the event, or after the event has ended will not be processed.




Click Refund tickets.

If you paid by card, the amount will be refunded back to the same account from which it was debited.

If you paid by EFT, cash deposit or SID Instant EFT, you'll be prompted to enter your banking details, and the amount will be transferred to this account.

Please allow up to 7 working days for the amount to reflect into your account.

 

Our cancellation policy
 

Please note that, while we’ll make every effort to assist you in cancelling your ticket, refunds are ultimately subject to the policies of the event organiser, and the following fees apply:
 

  • Cancellation on at least one working day's notice prior to the start of an event a 10% (ten percent) cancellation fee will apply;
  • Cancellation on less than one working day's notice prior to the start of an event a 100% (one hundred percent) cancellation fee will apply;
  • Purchase service fees are non-refundable;
  • All bank charges will be past on to the refundee and Quicket will not be held liable for these fees.
